👩‍🏫SSSE

Pre-SSSE

The children began class with prayers and Gayathri chanting before reading “Be Polite and Kind” by Cheri J. Meiners. They explored ways to use kind words, shared heartfelt answers, and expressed love through singing and art. The session nurtured inner sweetness, mindfulness, and gentle behavior.

Homework: Practice the new bhajan “Love is Ice Cream Very Sweet” daily.

Group 1

Students learned that failures can reveal hidden opportunities through the inspiring story of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. They reflected on how faith, perseverance, and positive thinking lead to lasting success. Discussions encouraged turning self-doubt into determination and gratitude, grounding every effort in Swami’s guidance toward resilience and strength.

Homework:

  • Add to Spiritual Diary:
    - Say a food prayer or thank God before meals.
    - Avoid watching TV or using phones while eating.

  • Practice bhajans they have learned.

Group 2

In this lively session, students practiced Ashtothram chanting, learned sustainability lessons from guest speakers, and created reusable bags and dog toys from old clothes. They discovered creative ways to reduce waste while preparing for their Eswaramma Day drama with joyful teamwork. Environmental awareness blossomed through love in action.

Homework:

  • Discuss “Go Green” lessons at home.

  • Bring reusable items for next class activity.

  • Attend all drama practice sessions.

Group 3

This reflective class encouraged deeper thinking about perception and judgment through creative stories and analogies. Students received their spiritual diaries to track growth and began forming leadership groups with rotating roles. Through a wise king’s story, they learned that wisdom comes from listening, reflecting, and living meaningfully.

Homework:

  • Bring notebook with spiritual diary printout and pen to every class.

  • Reflect weekly on one act of kindness or learning.

Group 4

The graduating students celebrated their final SSSE class of the year with reflections on commitment, discipline, and their “Divine Spark.” They shared heartfelt takeaways from their spiritual journey, highlighting personal sadhana and service. Teachers encouraged students to carry Swami’s love forward with sincerity, gratitude, and daily practice.
Homework:

  • Parents: Sign and return consent and pledge forms.

  • Students: Continue daily sadhana for Swami’s 100th birthday.

  • Review progress on personal goals and refine practice habits.
