Update on Raleigh Men's Shelter

Beginning in July the shelter kitchen will be undergoing renovations, and as a result, volunteers will not be able to cook or serve meals on-site for the duration of the project. While this temporarily changes the way we are able to serve, our commitment to supporting the shelter residents remains strong.

The shelter administration has arranged for their staff to prepare meals at an off-site kitchen during the renovation period. To continue supporting this effort, our Sai Center will be providing dry groceries and essential food supplies to help meet their needs.

We are grateful for everyone who has generously given their time, energy, and resources to this service project. Your dedication has made a meaningful difference, and we look forward to resuming our regular service once the renovations are complete.

More information will be forthcoming as we learn additional details about the renovation timeline and the shelter’s ongoing needs. In the meantime, I am actively exploring alternative service opportunities so that we can continue to put our values of love and selfless service into action during this transition. I will be in touch soon with updates and potential new ways for us to serve together.
